The Mythological and Theoretical Concepts behind the Development of Egyptian Magic

A presentation on the art and practice of Ancient Egyptian Magic in its older traditional form, and so does not include material from the much later Greek magical papyri.

“Egyptian Magick” launches April 24th with a live Q&A call with Robert Bartlett from 1-2:30pm PST. Robert will open the course with an explanation of this particular practice of magick and answer questions. You will then have 30 days to explore the video course at your own pace.

Topics provide an overview of Egyptian mysticism, an examination of the three most fundamental ritual practices in ancient Egypt, being the purification, the daily temple liturgy, and the opening of the mouth ritual. Also presented are the guides to help establish your own personal practice including construction ideas for the various ritual paraphernalia, incenses, oils and unguents. The preparation of Egyptian amulets, talismans and magical servant/protectors is covered as well.
